Mr. Orville J. Dewey, age 77, of Newnan passed away Sunday, April 10, 2016. He was born April 14, 1938 to the late Orville Daniel and Flossie May Dewey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Arlene Ruby Dewey; his second wife, Doris Scott Meeks Dewey; daughter, Sally Arnold; granddaughter, Crystal Lynn Dandron; great grandson, Landon Mahaffey. He is survived by his children, James David Dewey (Crystal), Tina May Green (Steve), Thomas L. Dewey (Jerry), Bonnie Sue Barnett (James), Lou Dewey (Joseph), Peggy Lee Mahaffey (Jerry), Janice Arlene Deering (Paul); Doris’ sons, Randall C. Weaver, Scott Meeks (Judy); brother, Fred Falk (Ruth); 33 grandchildren and 47 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 12, 2016 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Parrott Funeral Home & Crematory. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at 2 o’clock in the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
