Past Department President, Melrose C. Monroe is currently in a Mountain View Health Care.
Her only son had a stroke about three years ago and Melrose could no longer care for him and he was placed in this nursing home. Approximate a year ago she fell at home and broke her hip. She was on the floor for 2 days before anyone located her. She was in the hospital and under therapy for over 3 months. She is now in the same nursing home with her son. She cannot even walk on a walker and is in a wheel chair but she still knows people.
Betty Hannah visits her once a month. Her birthday is April 13 and this year she will be 95 years old. Please send her Thinking of You Cards she does not have a phone in her room. Please remember to send her Birthday Card on April 13. Lets see if we can make sure she received at least 100.
