Hurricane MICHAEL: Status Check

Oct 11, 2018

TO ALL District Commanders:

Hurricane MICHAEL left a path of destruction. Many areas in Georgia were directly impacted by Hurricane MICHAEL. The Department is respectfully requesting a status on Legionnaires' wellbeing and welfare AND whether any of your POST facilities received any damage?

Please let the Department know any status you have at this time. You may CALL or EMAIL any information you have. Our primary concern is the safety of our American Legion Family and any damages to buildings or other structures such as flooding, windows breakages, roof blown off, trees falling across building, power lines down, power outages, etc.

Although there is no time suspense on this request, the sooner this information is communicated, the better we are able to address your situation

(if needed or required).

PLEASE PASS THIS MESSAGE TO YOUR POST COMMANDERS FOR A STATUS UPDATE. If you are an addressee on this email and have pertinent and accurate info on members of Team Georgia and our facilities, please report it. Thank you in advance for ALL that you do to move Georgia forward.

For God and Country,

STANLEY FRANKLIN ZESTE DEBRO

COMMANDER ADJUTANT
