Passing of Mr. Tom "Grip" Walton

Mr. Thomas Raymond Walton, Jr. age 66, of Douglasville, GA passed away Monday, July 13, 2015. He was born March 31, 1949 in Douglasville, GA. Mr. Walton served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He loved his country and was very patriotic. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion and served as Commander for many years. Tom enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Lorene Walton as well as his sister Reba Potate.

Mr. Walton is survived by his wife, Terry Walton; daughters Anna Faye Walton and Carly Raye Walton; brother Andrew and wife Peggy Walton of Washington, DC; sisters Sharon and husband Guin Lovvorn and Jane Mason as well as numerous nephews, nieces and other family members.
